About the event
Black Wall Street AVL is hosting "Baptized in the Mountains: A Sunday Supper of Resilience," on Sunday, Sept. 20, starting at 5 p.m., to recognize those who helped Western North Carolina recover from Hurricane Helene.
Steppin' Out AVL will be leading a few dances starting around 7:30 in the parking lot across from 8 River Arts Place. (We'll head over as soon as our regular Sunday dance has ended.)
The event will feature Bernard Hardison preparing 1,200 pieces of chicken, a gospel choir, DJ, arts experiences...and Steppin' Out AVL!
Look for Jerri and Paul on the day of the event.
