About Us

Jerri Goldberg was ready to dance again.

Having taught line dancing for several years, as well as helped organize dance conventions and hoedowns, she approached the owners of Banks Ave. Bar in Asheville about hosting weekly Country Western dances open to all.
With the help of Christopher Mello, Susan MacMurchy and Paul Heaton, the first dance, dubbed "Butts & Boots," occurred June 1, 2023.
Western North Carolina has been dancing ever since.
